1. Coaching Services

Smart Planet Academy provides 1-on-1 private speedcubing and chess lessons delivered virtually via Google Meet or Zoom, as well as standalone solve-analysis services. Solves Analysis includes a personalized response video and PDF based on a video of five consecutive solves supplied by the customer. Coaching sessions are tailored to individual learners under the instruction of Joseph Jimenez.

2. Bookings & Rescheduling

The $30 assessment is scheduled and paid through Cal.com. Coaching packages may be purchased through the package-specific Stripe checkout links on this site. After a successful Stripe checkout, customers are returned to booking instructions for the Cal.com event configured for paid packages. A package purchase does not reserve a lesson time; each slot must be booked and confirmed separately in Cal.com. The site does not automatically track remaining package lessons. For alternative payment methods, contact the academy for arrangements and booking instructions.

Cancellation and rescheduling

Contact the academy at least 24 hours before a scheduled lesson to reschedule without a fee, subject to availability. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the lesson incur a fee equal to 50% of that lesson’s price. This policy applies to scheduled lessons, including lessons booked using a package. Refund terms for course pre-enrollment, unused package balances, and standalone Solves Analysis are separate; please contact the academy before purchase to confirm those terms.

3. Payments & Pricing

All prices listed on the site are in US Dollars (USD), unless otherwise agreed. Package payments are processed by Stripe through hosted payment pages. Other payment methods may be arranged by contact, including Zelle, Wise, PayPal, or selected cryptocurrency options. For custom services, confirm the service, total, availability, and payment method with the academy before sending a payment. The lesson cancellation and rescheduling policy above applies to scheduled lessons; contact the academy before purchase for refund terms for courses, unused package balances, or standalone analysis.

4. Student Code of Conduct & Safety

We provide a supportive, encouraging, and safe educational environment. Parents of young students (ages 5+) are welcome to assist during virtual setup and attend sessions.
